I’m Andy. I’m the ring-leader for Ibiza Owners Club and go under the username C3ptik (it’s a long story)
Firstly, welcome to the site and the club in general.
I’d like to spend a few minutes to introduce myself as a person rather than your admin.
Im currently 29 years old and drive a MK3 1.8T Ibiza Cupra.
I owned a MK5 Ibiza 1.4 Sport (2008) beforehand and found the car to be great but when it was ordered, the dealership knew nothing about it really. They couldn’t answer specific questions on the model types or optional extras. So after the car was picked up I checked all the optional extras (11/13 of them) to see how they worked. At the time, it was the first, highest-spec’d MK5 Ibiza in the country! I didnt like the fact that both myself and possibly hundreds, if not thousands of new Ibiza owners didn’t have access to any information or help on the car. So i created a forum based on the MK5 Ibiza, appropriately called 2008ibiza.com. It started slow, too slow to be honest, so i joined a few other SEAT forums. Not many people had MK5 varients on there either.
Then, after searching endlessly through magazines, the net and other articles I couldn’t find a members club dedicated to all models of the SEAT Ibiza. Why not? Who knows. Thats when I created IbizaOC.
Once it was set up I contacted Deepan Sivakumar who created the Facebook group for Ibiza Owners and asked him if he’d be interested in joining in with the Club. He reluctantly declined as he was selling his beloved Ibiza but generously added me and gave me admin rights to the group to use and help promote the club. For that, i cannot thank him enough.
Since Feb 25th 2009 the club has grown to a European-wide community full of passionate car lovers. It cannot be made without the help of you, though, and your support and commitment has definitely not gone unnoticed.
We now have 1 backup Admin and 3 Moderators to watch over the entire forum but specialise in particular areas. If you ever need help or assistance, the moderators should be first point of contact.
They are as follows:
Admins
C3ptik
T. Spark
Moderators
Tom.
Antnee

Hello
Using our wonderous leaders layout.
I’m T. Spark, im your friendly, helpful backup Admin
Id like to mirror Andy’s welcome’s and hope you enjoy the forum and website.
I guess I best do the same, im a person (honest) not just as an Administrator.
Im currently 22 years old and have the pleasure of driving a MK4 MY05 TDi Ibiza. This wasnt my first Seat, as prev. to this I have owned a 1.2 MK4 MY04 Ibiza. Ive been lucky enough to be part of the ‘Seat’ scene for the past 5 years, so generally have alot of useless, and some useful information in regards to all that is Seat. Your’ll generally find me all over the forum, as I try not to stick to just one place, which should helpfully mean I gain alot of knowledge about all areas, rather than a specific, but of course my strenght will be in the MK4 section, and the TDi Tuning area’s. My car is currently not, and never will be a day to day car anymore. I mostly do track days, and pod runs! I wont go into as much detail as the boss, as there isnt much more to say! Any questions or problems, by all means drop me a line and I will be happy to help, and im sure I can say that on behalf of all the Moderating team thansk for joining and hope to see you at some shows and meets this year. Long live IOC ![]()
Up next, I nominate who ever of those posts up next, so Tom., Antnee, Mat, BKR, a few words please.

Looks like its my turn then.
Im Tom. with a dot after the Tom.
Im 20 years old and a mechanical craftsmen at a powerstation.
I drive a mk4 PD130 sport ibiza, with a few mods ![]()
I’ve only been on the “SEAT scene” for about a year and a half, but know quite a bit about the mechanical side of things.
Im forever taking my car to bits and messing about with it.
If its not my own then its T.Sparks.
I too would like to welcome all members, and wish you a happy Ibiza ownership.
My specialist areas will no doubt be the Mk4 section, but also the technical area.
May I also say thanks to Andy for setting up this forum. I think something fresh was needed, so a big thumbs up from myself.
Anybody with any issues, do feel free to contact me via PM, and I will do my best to help.
Regards
Tom.

Well I’m Anthony and I am the whipper snapper of the team at being 18 years young. I am currently studying for my A levels inbetween fiddling with my 2000 Ibiza 1.6 Sport. The car itself has a few subtle mod’s and should see a few more ‘tweeks’ before the end of the summer when I intend on getting a Mk4 Ibiza (probally a diesel too).
With only being 18 I have only been on the VAG scene for less than a year (previously owning a Mk3 Golf), but I have a good understanding of how cars work (or don’t work!) and can lend my hand to most things. I want to help promote the club to establish itself for knowledge on Ibizas and also become a well known club within the VAG community, through this forum and future meets and shows.
I finally want to reflect on the others words in welcoming all of you to the Ibiza Owners Club, your complete source for your Seat Ibiza. Should you have any problems feel free to send any of us a Private Messege and we will try our best to help you out.
Cheers,
Anthony

Im BKR
I am of 23 years and work as a stores facilitator at a local motor factors.
I have a Mk4 Ibiza Cupra 1.8 20vT which is ever changing.
I’ve owned Ibiza’s since i passed my test at 17 back in 2005. Infact, i’ve owned Mk4 ibizas since i started driving. Started with a 2005 red 1.2, then onto a 2008 1.9 pd100 sport and now on a 2004 1.8 20vT Cupra.
I spend more time on my car than I do almost anything else whether its tinkering with the looks and small mods, or cleaning it from top to bottom. Some of the longstanding members will know me rather well as i have spent many hours on the site, at shows and meets getting the name out and just generally having fun.
Im not the most clued up on all the technical side of things but can try my hand at most things and with a little help from the forums and members, i’ve got along fine so far. You’ll find me in most areas of the forums, maybe not always to give the greatest of information but i like to see that everyone gets an answer and i like to give everyone my honest opinion. I am easily aproachable and can be contacted on here via pm (private message). Dont be afraid to add me on facebook, just send me a message along with the request so i know not to ignore.
As the rest have said I cant thank Andy enough for the site and the experiences he and the club has given me, and i hope you can all enjoy the same as i have for as long as your stay and remember us for years after too.
All the best
Tom
