We are migrating! IMPORTANT - Please read   08/07/2017

Over the past couple of years we've seen an influx of productivity and engagement across our social networking platforms. So much so, that the social realm as you may know, is overtaking the likes of websites and forums. We have been number crunching and feel it is best that we go with the flow and embrace the social media world.
We have decided to transfer the club over to our already hugely popular Facebook Page and Facebook Group. With over 14k members on our Facebook group alone there is even more engagement with other members from across the world. If you haven't already, now is the time to give our Page a Like and join the Group for discussions.
The website will soon become a redirect to the Facebook Page and Group. If you have anything of importance posted on the forum, now would be a great time to grab it and post it on our group.

A further message will be sent before the switch.

  1. Not seen this idea on the thread. name/title; DIY sill protectors what is it?; 0.1m x 1.52m strip of a wrap of your choice (probably from eBay) Some "SEAT" wheel stickers off eBay. how; Cut wrap to length, measure up and apply.. Then stick Seat stickers in the middle of the wrap. cost; About £7 for 2 door if you get the wrap on correct first time. rating(1*ok to 5*great); I would say 4/5, looks pretty neat. 2. The hose/line might be full of 'sludge' , try removing the cap on the rear wiper and then carefully pull out the sprayer tip with pliers. Turn on the rear wiper and spray for a few seconds; blow some compressed air into the tip to clean it out and then refit it in the correct orientation. That might solve the spray force issue, it did for me. Without the tip it should spray fluid about 2 meters or so, or mine did. Sent from my C55 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm not removing the Aero kit.. It's one of the main reasons I bought this car. Sorry! Sent from my C55 using Tapatalk
  4. Changed side lights and reverse lights to LEDs. Replaced the boot central lock motor. Found out the the passenger door lock seems to have the micro switch problem.. Something else to fix.. Sent from my C55 using Tapatalk
  5. Here's some pictures of my new(to me) car. Its the 1.4 16V Sport, 85 PS model. Looks like it had the Aero kit fitted from factory, don't seem to see many Ibiza's with the kit fitted. Already fully serviced the car and had the cam belt & ancillaries replaced. Got a few lights to change to LED's and give her a good detailing. Not really looking to change the car too much, quite like the standard/stock look. Any tips on subtle changes would be good. Sent from my C55 using Tapatalk
  6. Serviced it, washed it, found out that the boot remote locking isn't working. So stripped the lock out and found the that the actuator motor is dead, need to find a new one. Sent from my C55 using Tapatalk
  7. Hello, I put a deposit down at the weekend on a 57 plate Ibiza 1.4 Sport, picking it up late this week. My name is Ryan, and I'm 20. Currently own a 1.0 litre X reg Yaris and a 1971 Californian Import VW Camper. My first car was a 1972 VW Beetle, its fair to say I'm a bit of a VW aircooled nut but not so much VAG watercooled. The car I have put a deposit on is the 1.4, 85PS with 45,000 miles on the clock. The car doesn't appear to have ever had the cambelt changed so the first thing I'm doing is taking to my local independent VW specialist for it doing. Then I'll change the oil and the usual filters. Any tips/tricks would be great to know for these cars/engines. Thanks Ryan Sent from my C55 using Tapatalk
