As we look to migrate the club over to Facebook the Club Shop has been re-opened at the following location:

We are migrating! IMPORTANT - Please read   08/07/2017

Over the past couple of years we've seen an influx of productivity and engagement across our social networking platforms. So much so, that the social realm as you may know, is overtaking the likes of websites and forums. We have been number crunching and feel it is best that we go with the flow and embrace the social media world.
We have decided to transfer the club over to our already hugely popular Facebook Page and Facebook Group. With over 14k members on our Facebook group alone there is even more engagement with other members from across the world. If you haven't already, now is the time to give our Page a Like and join the Group for discussions.
The website will soon become a redirect to the Facebook Page and Group. If you have anything of importance posted on the forum, now would be a great time to grab it and post it on our group.

A further message will be sent before the switch.

      Regards,
      The IOC Team

Gear Gaiter

3 posts in this topic

So my question is that Will a VW Golf MK4 Gear Gaiter fit a 6K2 Ibiza MK3?

My 1.6SR 6K2 has a broken gear gaiter from the previous owner and I'm having a hard time to find a replacement one in my country (Lebanon)

I saw a DIY guide on how to convert a VW Golf MK3 gaiter into an MK4 and it looked like gaiter in the 6K2 (Picture Below) (Pictures are not mine. They are borrowed from here

Thank you in advanced! :D

Did not fit, tried both MK3 and MK4 Golf Gaiters. I found a guy who's getting me a Cupra one from Sweden though :D

      Hello,
Sorry for being absent for so long.
Looking some advice. Got a 1.4 seat ibiza sport 2006 - first time i power washed it the car immediately wouldn't start, after three or four tries over the space of half an hour or so it eventually started and i figured i'd just gotten water somewhere i shouldn't have that, when dried out the car started fine.
Sunday just passed i power washed the car again in a bit of a hurry and was a bit careless with where i was spraying...the car started fine straight away and i moved it up the path to park, went out that night to go to work and it wouldn't start at all.
It is turning over fine but wont start. I am guessing i have once again gotten water somewhere i shouldn't have and it is just taking extra long to dry out because its cold wet weather here at the min (Northern Ireland).
Anyone else have similar issues and any way i can resolve this during the washing process? May sound stupid but i was considering throwing an old duvet cover inside the bonnet when washing it from now on, any ideas??
      Thanks car budz - deadbatteriez
