Club Shop Moved and Re-Opened   04/03/2017

As we look to migrate the club over to Facebook the Club Shop has been re-opened at the following location:
      https://www.facebook.com/pg/ibizaoc/shop/
    • c3ptik

We are migrating! IMPORTANT - Please read   08/07/2017

Over the past couple of years we've seen an influx of productivity and engagement across our social networking platforms. So much so, that the social realm as you may know, is overtaking the likes of websites and forums. We have been number crunching and feel it is best that we go with the flow and embrace the social media world.
We have decided to transfer the club over to our already hugely popular Facebook Page and Facebook Group. With over 14k members on our Facebook group alone there is even more engagement with other members from across the world. If you haven't already, now is the time to give our Page a Like and join the Group for discussions.
The website will soon become a redirect to the Facebook Page and Group. If you have anything of importance posted on the forum, now would be a great time to grab it and post it on our group.

A further message will be sent before the switch.

      Regards,
      The IOC Team

Your Car Name?

80 posts in this topic

Hey all,

A wee bit of fun, but do you have a name for your car? and what's your reason for it?

Mine are:

- For the Mk5 Ibiza, Garfield, for obvious reasons cause its orange and black :)

- For the Van, Jessie, long standing name for my car/van, if I can't think of anything else. Esp for this heap, when it struggles to go up a hill I say "come on Jessie" lol

Ok, so now I've embarrassed myself, what's yours???

My first car (Red Corsa) was called Vanessa ..because that was the name of a red car from the list in Gone in 60 Seconds 8) ..on the boot where it said 'Vauxhall' it now says Vanessa :L

MK4 Ibiza is called Storm, gf picked the name because of what she should be like after the zaust system and map :)

Mines called Lord Huffy, because of the reg plate, though it was almost christened neko (japanese for cat) because of its feline front end.

Girly's is called George, apparently because it's a nice name.

Ive had:

Puggy

Puglet

Corsa beast

Dis-astra

Chuggy

And now the silver arrow

and the reasons? :P

First one, a peugeot 306 named by my gf at the time

Second, same and same

Third named by me because it was an sri and it was ...fast...faster than it should have been, i can only assume a previous owner had tweaked some things...

Disastra ...clues in the name, what it was and why it was named, fell apart after 3 months

Chuggy for my derv ibiza...noise it made, listen to a 1.4 pd and you would understand...it sounds somewhere between a canal boat and a tractor ...but noisier than a transit van

The silver arrow ...because it feels luxurious like the old fashioned train, the golden arrow ... :)

First car, red 206 was Valkyrie because of the plate: VLK.

Second, silver Saxo, unnamed as I didn't like it and only had it for 6 months due to the 206 being written off while I saved for a new one.

Third, red biza mk4: Kelly. Plate is KE. :P
