Club Shop Moved and Re-Opened   04/03/2017

As we look to migrate the club over to Facebook the Club Shop has been re-opened at the following location:
      https://www.facebook.com/pg/ibizaoc/shop/

We are migrating! IMPORTANT - Please read   08/07/2017

Over the past couple of years we've seen an influx of productivity and engagement across our social networking platforms. So much so, that the social realm as you may know, is overtaking the likes of websites and forums. We have been number crunching and feel it is best that we go with the flow and embrace the social media world.
We have decided to transfer the club over to our already hugely popular Facebook Page and Facebook Group. With over 14k members on our Facebook group alone there is even more engagement with other members from across the world. If you haven't already, now is the time to give our Page a Like and join the Group for discussions.
The website will soon become a redirect to the Facebook Page and Group. If you have anything of importance posted on the forum, now would be a great time to grab it and post it on our group.

A further message will be sent before the switch.

      Regards,
      The IOC Team

Some little... keyed :(

8 posts in this topic

Some little **** decided to key my car the other week across pretty much every panel on the passenger side! :bash:

I have no idea why or when, I think it happened right outside and I don't think I've annoyed anyone that much recently! Has anyone here got any tips or experience in getting something like that out? Whether I respray it myself or spend a bomb at getting it sorted by a professional? I was hoping to save a load of cash this year and upgrade to a newer, more powerful Cupra or FR so this is definitely something I hate to have to spend a lot of money on :stamp:

Hey,

Sorry to say if its been keyed, then changes are its deep :/ my rule is if you catch the mark with your nail when going across it then its too deep to fix without at least being filled :/

Depending on how bad the scratch is u could try the turtle wax chip stick and polish? It's supposed to fill in the scratch and use the polish to blend it in to the paint, I have the chip stick and used it on a small scratch an I hardly notice the scratch anymore just need to fill in the rest. May not be a permanent fix but can always give it a try

One of other other cars got keyed up all down the near side from back to front, the scratch went down to bare metal. Took my car to a body repair shop where I was quoted £1100 to repair and respray. Half the car had to be resprayed to blend new paint with the old. Next mission was to fill the guy in who done it. Mission complete. Won't come near my motor again.
